Scope of Mobile Communication in India

I work in the field of Mobile Communication. This area of technology has enthused me ever since phones started getting mobile in my place. By the way, I live in Kerala, a small state located in south India. Kerala stands apart from other indian states, the reason can be the higher level of education that the state boasts of. Not amusingly, Kerala has the highest concentration of cellular devices (I refer to density) in India. Now I leave Kerala alone...My focus is on India.
The growth of India in the mobile-com field was, or rather is exponential. Today India is the fastest growing mobile phone market in the World. But this don't leave a clear picture. What which leaves a clear picture is the fact that the teledensity in India is less than 12% or out of 100 Indians only 11 have a mobile device with them. I deducted 1% considering the fact that a considerable number of people have 2 devices with them. For the rest 89% of Indians, the cellular revolution is still beckoning. That depicts the immence scope of mobile communication Industry in India. Mobile phones are gaining popularity day-by-day. The cut-throat competition between mob phone makers as well as network operators just adds fuel to the mobile aswamedham. Now, it is being hailed as the Holy Son born to bridge the digital divide, whereas onec people thought it was the PC which gonna do that. The revolution has just begun in India.
