iPhone's Superb

It is the most anticipated wedding in the gizmo world. When the new-found love between the so-young but legendary iPod and the good old mobile phone surfaced, nobody was surprised. They knew it is destiny.

iPhone slated to release in June 2007 is incredibly superb, atleast it looks like so!

Its a quad band GSM phone with the Mac OS X driving its soul.It has a lavish 3.5 inch touchscreen and a 2 MP cam. It is WiFi and EDGE enabled but, WiMAX, HSCSD and WCDMA (3G) are let off. Considering that Cingular Wireless, in whos network iPhone will be available has HSCSD (a technology that gives higher datarate than EDGE), this quite a disappointment. Its vibrant touchscreen has an on-screen QWERTY keypad. It also has a fingertip scrolling pad. The device also features three sensors: a proximity sensor that shuts off the touchscreen when the iPhone is brought close to an ear (to save battery power and to prevent accidental contact with the user's face and ears from triggering phone features), an ambient light sensor that adjusts screen brightness and saves power, and an accelerometer, which senses the orientation of the phone and changes the screen accordingly.

An amazing 200 patent applications have been filed by Apple, Inc. for the technologies that it used in the iPhone.
Available in 4GB & 8GB versions, this gizmo of the gizmos weighs just 135 grams!

As they say, good things don't come cheap.iPhone has a planned launch price of US$499 for the 4 GB model and $599 for the 8 GB model!

And yes, India will have to wait until 2008 to get this dream device to its hand. Even in Europe, it will be released only in the later 2007.
So, let's wait and be happy with our iPods until then. Just look at its pic, isn't it worth the wait?
